Como implementar debug para NS2 esta es una de las entradas en las cuales se verá otros tópicos.
Instalación de TCL debug para ns2
Descargar de la siguiente dirección:
Documentos compilados de Pedro vale
estrella
http://tagus.inesc-id.pt/~pestrela/ns2/files/ns2_debugging_files.tar.gz
Descomprimir e copiar de esta carpeta
el direcctorio “tcl-debug-xxxx” en el directorio raiz
(/home/xxxx/ns-allinone-2.34/)
Se crea el siguiente directorio
“/home/xxx/ns-allinone-2.34/tcl-debug/”, ingresar en este.
Descargar el parche (para que reconozca
los directorios donde esta el tcl) de la siguiente dirección:
Aplicar el parche (estamos dentro del
directorio tcl-debug)
patch -p1 <
/home/./Downloads/tcl-debug-2.0-configure.patch
Ahora modificar el archivo configure
para que funcione. (más información en):
gedti configure

Por lo general se agrega las siguiente
líneas, importante que el path refleje el de su equipo (en mi caso
tuve que cambiar a tcl8.4.18

Add Protocols into ns2 with eclipse ... Compiling Makefile or Makefile.in ?
Hi,
Add some new funtionality into ns2 sometimes needs some skills, in this blog I'll write the procces for updating changes into the compiling proccess.
I'am working with ns-2.34 and ubuntu 10.4
1. First we must change the file Makefile.in, and here add some lines for the new protocol. /home/user/ns-allinone-2.34/ns-2.34/Makefile.in (change the path according yours)
2. Into the command line we have run ./configure command. /home/user/ns-allinone-2.34/ns-2.34/

Rovitor's guide to survivor short stays in the fi-upm Madrid

This are guide show some tricks to minimize expenses, maximize time and avoid problems into the airports. This are specific for fi-upm students, but usefull for people arriving to madrid.
1. Accommodation
The better places are near to metro stations, specially, Aluche, Principe Pio, Colonia Jardin and Bohadilla. You can rent a department 600-800 euros or you can rent a room (250-350 euros), any way you must sure that the montly fee include internet, kitchen use and laundry.
2. Time
March to July, september to november are the months with the most friendly wheater, I suggest you to plan your trip in this months, its very recommended that you arrive to Madrid in the begin of the last week of the month in this way you can minimize your expenses in your transport.
2. Transport
When you arriving to the airport, go to the metro ticket's machines and buy the 10 tickets metro (9,50 euros). If you have a friend in madrid ask him waiting for you.
You must buy a Monthly ticket (60 euros), that include the zone B2. This montly ticket is valid in the metro, renfe and bus transportation in Madrid. Renfe is faster. Renfe and metro always are on time and easy to use.
One time that you are in Aluche, change to the bus transportation and take these lines 571, 685. This left you in the campus of the fi-upm.
3. Money
Always you prefer pay with Credit card, with this you have the legal change money. But always have some money in your pockets.
4. Airports:
Review your ticket fly and search for SELLER and OPERATOR enterprises. When you arrive to any airport aks in the desk of the OPERATOR for your fly number.
5. FI_UPM campus
In the fi-upm exist a restaurant for your lunch (5 euros), you have 3 choices for your lunch. The meals are fine. Or you can carry with your meal for the lunch. The restaurant has microwaves for the students use.
It´s all, waiting for your comments.

La búsqueda de vida inteligente y los sistemas distribuidos
Conocen la relación del proyecto SETI y los sistemas distribuidos, favor utilicen indicadores cuantificables cuando relacionen estos dos conceptos. Cuanto le costaría al proyecto SETI trabajar sin sistemas distribuidos ?
Les comento que para enviar los mensajes se utiliza un arreglo con dimensiones basadas en números primos.

IP móvil
Qué concepto tan interesante el de movilidad, permitir que un dispositivo se mueva entre diferentes dominios de broadcasst manteniendo la comunicación. Cualés son los mecanismos en Ipv4 y en Ipv6 que permiten que esta movilidad se logre ???.
Cual es la relación entre Ip móvil y Redes móviles (MANET) ?

About IPv6
Cuales son los motivos para que el protocolo ipv6 no se haya desplegado hasta el momento ??
A mi forma de ver es el factor económico el que esta detrás, debido a que los proveedores de internet y los creadores de equipos de comunicación deben hacer un gasto fuerte para que toda su infraestructura soporte este nuevo protocolo, de tal forma que han preferido investigar sobre "trucos" y mecanismos para evitar este desembolso fuerte de dinero. Mecanismos como NAT, proxys, que lo que hacen es multiplexar la forma en la que las comunicaciones se dan. Que creen ustedes ???

How is the people against AH1N1 infection in my work place ?
Recently a local newspaper showed a note about the AH1N1 infection in my city , most fast than a bullet this news made echo into my coworkers.
Now the intensity of their reactions are increasing.
First their conversations was low hallway conversations, but now is a permanent main topic in all meeting formal or informal.
Second when the people know about this they joke about it(myself), but now all people is concerning (paranoid) about.
Third now exist a witch hunt, all tourist returning to work are suspects and they start to be treated in a discriminated manner.
What we do make ???
No paranoid, the people going to stay the calm, speak about real facts (confirmed infection cases), no about rumors, and meet the local health considerations into the prevention and correction.
No negligence, "if the river sounds, rocks is with him", the local authorities would begin immediately prevention campaigns and quickly and effective actions to avoid propagation.
If you are sick and the symptons match the AH1N1, is time to go to hospital. Remember is for your relatives and friends.
